The three-time premiership winner didn’t really know what to expect from his life after football, and it took a couple of years before he truly understood the meaning of a few wise words from seven-time premiership winning coach Wayne Bennett.
“I didn’t know what I wanted to do. I thought I could just retire and move back home, live near the beach [or] live on a property,” Inglis said.

WHAT'S YOUR EXCUSE?
Accidentally stumbled across a PNG homegrown multinational corporation's office in Auckland. Owner of Mapai New Zealand Ltd, Mr Jacob Luke (from Enga) went from being a mechanic in Mt Hagen to establishing a small trucking company that turned into the largest in PNG and now with business interests in shipping and logistics abroad. No school fees. No degree. No government funding. No rich family. No bank loans. No political connections. No internet. No facebook marketing. No media advertising. Mr Luke started Mapai with none of the prerequisites we use as excuses today. All he had was hard work, discipline, vision and a stubborn determination never to give up. If he can do it, you can do it too. What's your excuse? Don't let it steal your dreams.

PRIME Minister and Treasurer Hon. James Marape has responded Opposition critics by highlighting significant economic growth since his government took office in 2019.
"The economy has grown since we took office, lest we forget the recessed economy Mr.O’Neill, in 2018, passed over to my government,” PM Marape said.
He addressed concerns during a period when the Opposition has depicted a negative scenario for the country and its economy, with a no-confidence motion on the horizon.
“We are not economically-illiterate as these power-hungry mob would want the country to believe,” the Prime Minister said.Pointing to historical economic data, he emphasised the recent advancements.
“They only need to look at records of how our economy has travelled over the last 49years.

A BIG TREE HAS FALLEN
Waimin J.Lanao
Our tribesman, our father, our brother, and elder of the tribe has left us this morning.
Late Itaki Werea passed away at 1:30am at his Wapenamanda residence after being discharged from a medication at Kudjip Hospital last week.
Dad, you departed us too soon leaving us with broken hearts. Death and birth are 2 inevitable things in our lives which we will never run away from. We accept that God alone gives and takes life. I thank God for the short yet colorful life he lived with us his family, friends and relatives, clan, tribe and rest of Wapenamanda.

TEACHER ATTACKED AT MINJ SECONDARY SCHOOL
By Edward K Wiogin
This morning incident at Minj Secondary is really ANIMALISTIC.. Teachers coming from other provinces to serve Jiwaka is a great concern. It's a second time of attack for teachers coming from other province.
May be we are teachers from other province that's why we are twice being attacked. We teachers have noting to do with the prolong issue between the admin and villages and why our live is on danger.
Attached is Mr Opo being attacked this morning while on duties by neighbouring villages. He is innocent and knew nothing about the issue between the surrounding villages. Mr Opo is getting a permanent damage on his nose and can't be cured..
Enough is enough. Tired of teaching some ANIMALISTIC minds who does not have COMMON SENSE/UNDERSTANDING.
I just need someone to post this to Jiwaka Development Forum so let them all see what is really going in at Minj Secondary on the attack of innocent teachers...

WAIGANI STREET SELLER FINALLY ATTAINED HIS BACHELLOR'S DEGREE IN ECONOMICS
Every success has a story behind it, and success in itself doesn't have a happy beginning. However, on the flip side of the coin, there is still a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.
Success is not about competition to compete with others - it is a journey of its own - it has its own pace and time frame.
Here is a short story of Dick Teta, a street vendor who recently graduated from the PNG's University of Technology.
Dick hails from a village called Silim in the Kompiam Ambum District in Enga province. He comes from a poor family background, and he is married with two beautiful kids.

Mr.Teta's educational journey began in the early days of his life. Given the family background, life of a village boy to progress in education was bit challenging. The life's struggle was real. There was no one to look up to, interms of financing his education, but his parents seemed the only becon of hope, the light to shine on through the darkness.

Life at Kumul land, Morobe
Photos taken in rainy Lae in 2023, while working with Brunel International, a recruitment company on a Santos project in Lae, Morobe Province. Renting a house at East Taraka near Unigate and was working at 9-Mile next to Crossroad Hotel. This was one of the 8 international companies worked for before joining public service on the 28th of November, 2022. This probably the end of the employment in private sector and become public servant. It was cool being part of the reputable companies (Spiecapag Niugini, Exxon Mobil, China Harbor Engineering, Curtain Brothers, Hidden Valley Morobe Mining, Laga Industries, Orien Energy, Brunel International (Santos ltd) for 11 solid years.
