Allan did his Gr 1 and Gr 8 at Kwia Primary School in Waimin tribe, Tsak LLG Wapenamanda district, where his late father was an APO at a Community Health Post (Lyulimanda CHP). His late father, Keap Ponn, from Kompiam district in Enga Province. He was an Aidpost Orally there for 12 years at Sakalim village before he passed on when Allan was in Gr 8. He is a 2nd born of the family among other 3 of his younger brothers, and Raymond Keap is his elder brother. His 4 brothers were raised by his mother, and Allan was raised by Kelly Yukua from Waimin tribe. That's where he got his middle name (Kelly) from.
Unfortunately, his hardworking mother also passed on when they were still young. All 5 boys did not complete their education, and that's the very sad scenario. He did not complete his Grade 12 at Wapenamanda Foursquare Secondary. He left school in 2019 and sells betlenut at Kumbas Market in Wapenamanda. Those who go to Kumbas market would recall a young man who sells betlenut infront of India kaibar. He has been out of school for 4 years.
However, Allan was very determined while living as an orphan until he enrolled at Bialla Secondary School and awarded Dux Prize for Year 12 Social Science stream. Screenshot attached is from a teacher who helped Allan Kelly Keap enrolled at school who later topped Bialla Secondary in Social Science 2024.
Congratulations on your achievement, Allan. Your heart is very determined, and your perseverance in striving for success will never let you down.
